We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy personal assistant to support a 34‑year‑old young man with cerebral palsy in the Middleton and Leeds area.
Working: 11 hours per week, Monday‑Wednesday morning or afternoon.
Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and own car (fuel allowance provided).
- Must have a valid blue badge for parking.
- Non‑smoker or vaper.
- Reference and DBS check required.
- Childcare must be in place.
- Ability to reassure and explain when needed, e.g. fire alarm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with community outings (cinema, bowling, shopping, sports, music).
- Help with mobility – use only lifts, no stairs or escalators.
- Provide companionship; support socialisation.
