Reliable Female Personal Assistant required to assist a 42-year-old woman with nutritional needs, keeping the home clean and tidy, personal care and accessing the community. Applicants must be patient, helpful and caring, and be able to work in a discreet and confident manner and have a good sense of humour. Being flexible and able to work on your own initiative is also important.
Support will be required on Monday 8.45am – 12.45pm. Times may vary depending on if I have a medical appointment.
Key Responsibilities- Support with personal care tasks: washing, support with catheter, dressing and toileting, including hoisting.
- Support to drive and attend appointments if required.
- Support with nutritional needs: making me a drink and breakfast/lunch.
- Support to manage my home to keep it clean and tidy: putting away laundry, cleaning and tidying.
- Training: Moving can drive a motability equipped car.
- Medical: Catheterisation support.
Candidate Requirements: Eligible to live and work in the UK with no criminal background. Post subject to DBS check. Post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
