Support Workers Required – 23 Hours per Week £14.67p/h Hexham area

We are looking for two compassionate and reliable Support Workers to share 23 hours per week, supporting a friendly and sociable individual in the local community.

About the Role

The client is happy, chatty and enjoys getting out and about. They love walks and being part of the community, and are keen to try new social groups and activities.

You will support with day-to-day tasks, including organising routines, overseeing medication, and encouraging meaningful activities that promote independence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience or knowledge in diabetes management and nutrition
  • Medication administration
  • Person centred care and the Mental Capacity Act
  • Managing finances
  • Training in Prader Willi Syndrome is desirable, although full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is caring, proactive and dependable, with a genuine passion for supporting others.

Additional Requirements

  • Access to your own car and willingness to use it for community activities is essential
  • Open to all genders
