An artistic, outgoing and positive woman in her early 50s, living with ME, is looking for a calm and reliable support worker to provide assistance mainly within her home. She is a wife and mother of two teenagers and lives in a colourful, creative household with a supportive husband, one dog and two cats. Due to the impact of ME, including fatigue, pain and sensory overload, support is required to help maintain the smooth running of the household.

Duties will include food shopping, batch cooking and general household tasks. On more difficult days, there may be occasions where support is needed outside the home, including assisting with wheelchair use. The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable and respectful, with a person‑centred approach. An essential quality is the ability to listen and not make assumptions, recognising that the employer is the expert in her own needs and can clearly communicate her wishes. This role would suit someone who is calm, understanding and confident working within a family home environment.
