About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, active, and motivated Personal Assistant to support a young adult with autism to access community activities and hobbies. This is a person‑centred role focused on building a genuine connection. It is more like being a companion or activity partner than a traditional care role. You will support independence, confidence, and enjoyment of day‑to‑day activities. The individual you will support is very sports‑oriented with a passion for football, especially Newcastle United. He enjoys gym sessions, running, and tennis. He is kind, caring, and thoughtful, always wanting the best for others. He can be a little reserved at first but becomes more open once he feels comfortable. As someone with autism, he may sometimes need support with communication and social interaction, so understanding and patience are important.
