Female care / Support Assistant – Working with 1 client with MS in their own home – Stoke on Trent Area- Car Driver essential – £12.49 per hour – 20 or 25 hours per week

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Care assistant to join one of our small, friendly teams in the Stoke On Trent area! You will be supporting our client with Multiple Sclerosis to lead a fulfilling and individual lifestyle by getting out and about in the local community and supporting her with day to day clinical tasks.
A bit about Us! At Salvere Support we provide care and support to clients in their own home and our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person centered care to truly make a difference in our clients lives.You’ll play a key role in helping them live their life to the fullest, whether that\’s heading out for a fun shopping trip or coming up with new ideas and activities to try together!
A Car Driver essential and you must be able to drive the customers Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
(You will be working as part of a small team, the shifts are 1:1 basis, with family around to provide support when needed)
Hours Available: 20 or 25 hours per week. (To be confirmed)
In return Salvere Support offers:

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.
Who we are looking for:
You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:
- Personal care, support to manage continence, and measures to maintain a good skin state.
- Moving and Handling (including hoisting and position changes).
- Some domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning, and cooking nutritious meals and general tidying).
- Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping.

- Catheter Care and Support (Suprapubic)
- Providing medication and nutrition through a Gastro tube (PEG)
You should also have:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
