This person is looking for a PA to support him in weekly shopping to Tesco in Clevedon. He usually does this at 10am on a Thursday. Ideally, he would need a car driver who he can pay mileage to. Any other time left would be to do a walk around the town centre in Clevedon. The idea would be to build more hours in.
This person is a 33-year-old man who has a diagnosis of autism and learning disabilities. He lives in a rented flat in the centre of Clevedon on his own, he has Carelink and family are nearby. Since lockdown, his family have supported him so he can remain living as independently as possible. Before lockdown, he was supported by Brandon Trust to access the community and carry out shopping etc.
This person is a very happy person, who is polite and considerate to others. He volunteers at the St Peter’s Hospice charity shop and also the Curzon Cinema. The type of person who would suit this person is a patient, kind and good time keeper. This person struggles with change of plan and lateness, which is when he will become upset. He likes routine and clear and concise instructions. This person doesn’t like lots of talking and is generally a very quiet person himself.
Hourly rate: £16.47 for self-employed PA's, £12.55 for employed PA's
