Overview: Care Assistant for a 43 year old male with generalized Dystonia, living at home in Southmead, Bristol BS10. 25 hours per week, £14.10 per hour.

Details:

  • Location: Southmead, Bristol, BS10
  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Hours gross pay: £352.50 PAYE

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: washing hair, helping with shoes/socks, assisting with bathroom needs (bedroom commode); cannot access downstairs toilet
  • Transport at home: helping transferring in and out of wheelchair, using bedroom lifts and stair lift in home
  • Domestic duties: laundry, cleaning, cooking meals, preparing medication, shopping and errands
  • Physical assistance at home: helping with mobility (using walking aids), leg stretching exercises, wearing foot splint and back brace
