Personal assistant / Care Support Worker – Direct Payment Role (Hartlepool) We’re looking for a kind, enthusiastic, and bubbly individual to join a small, friendly team providing 24‑hour, 2:1 care for a young man with a brain injury living in his own independent bungalow in Seaton Carew, Hartlepool. All care needs are fully supported in this rewarding, person‑centered role.
Part‑time hours: minimum of 72 hours per month, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts for holiday and sickness cover. Shift patterns: Choose either permanent nights or a combination of day and night shifts – flexible depending on your preference. Day shift timings: 7 am – 5 pm / 7 pm Night shift timings: 7 pm – 7 am. Pay rate: £13.00 per hour. Alternate weekends off or two weekends off per month depending on the needs of the rota.

- Helping maintain a tidy and comfortable home and garden
- Planning and taking part in activities, days out, and local walks
- Accompanying the client to appointments
- Aged 18 or over
- Friendly, reliable, and caring – essential qualities for this role

- Experience in care (formal or informal) is a bonus but not essential
- Fully flexible in terms of availability for shifts
- A full UK driving license is preferred but not essential
