An artistic, outgoing and positive woman in her early 50s, living with ME, is looking for a calm and reliable support worker to provide assistance mainly within the home. She is a wife and mother of two teenagers and lives in a colourful, creative household with a supportive husband, one dog and two cats. Due to the impact of ME, including fatigue, pain and sensory overload, support is required to help maintain the smooth running of the household.
Duties will include:
- Food shopping
- Batch cooking
- General household tasks
On more difficult days, there may be occasions where support is needed outside the home, including assisting with wheelchair use. The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable and respectful, with a person-centred approach.
