You will be a Personal Assistant to a dad who has 4 young children who has had a stroke, which has left him with care and support needs. The main focus of the role is to support him with his personal care, support around physio, support with laundry tasks and meals.
The ideal candidate is someone who has experience of providing care and support to individuals; however, consideration will be given to people with no experience if they can demonstrate that they have a caring nature and are willing to learn. A driver with a car is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for 2 Personal Assistants to cover a mix of 5 hour shifts, up to 3 times per week; there are also shorter 1 hour shifts available throughout the day. Support is needed during the week and at weekends. The employer is willing to be flexible around the PA's availability.
PAs are paid £13.03 per hour. You will receive paid holidays and the opportunity for training relevant to your role. Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
