We are looking for a kind, reliable and proactive individual to support a friendly gentleman living in Duddo, Berwick-upon-Tweed. He has cerebral palsy and is beginning the process of building his care and support team. Whilst having cerebral palsy and being deaf (relying on hearing aids), he carries out many tasks using his feet and has put together a description of his daily routines to give an insight into the type of support that may be needed.

Support will include:

  • Preparing and assisting with healthy & nutritious meals
  • Supporting with feeding and ensuring drinks are always available
  • Assistance with washing, dressing, toileting
  • Prompting medication
  • Light domestic tasks including laundry, changing bedding and shopping

This is a rewarding role offering the chance to make a real difference in someone’s daily life. 35hrs per week to be arranged flexibly but will likely be approx 9am, 1pm, 5pm and 9pm but we’re open to discussing availability and flexibility.
