Location: Home-based (local to my residence)

Role Overview: This is a companionship-focused role, providing emotional reassurance, a calming presence, and light practical support within the home and occasionally nearby outdoor environments (e.g., short dog walks). The role is not medically intensive but requires patience, understanding, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and reassurance during periods when I am alone
  • Support with managing anxiety and panic episodes in a calm, reassuring manner
  • Accompany me on short walks locally (including with my dog)
  • Assist in maintaining a relaxed, structured environment
  • Be a trusted, friendly presence to help build confidence and independence over time

Essential Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car, as this provides an added sense of safety and reassurance
  • Kind, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a calm demeanor
  • Comfortable with dogs and cats
  • Good communication skills and ability to build trust
