Care Assistant for a senior gentleman. Full-time position available. Reference: 69c0594a.

PA’s needed to care for an older gentleman with Motor Neuron Disease. Flexible working available, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Weekend on, weekend off. Pension included and paid annual leave. Night shifts not required but may need night support if a hospital admission is required at any time.

Care needs include:

  • Personal care
  • Toileting
  • Washing
  • Showering
  • Cough assist
  • Suction as and when required
  • Nebuliser
  • Catheter care
  • PEG feeding
  • Administration of all medications

Experience of complex care preferred but not essential. The gentleman lives in the family home with his wife and daughter. It is a very loving and caring environment, and we are looking for someone with high standards who will enjoy working with the family.
