Team of Female Personal Care Assistants required to support a young man who lives in St Helen Auckland, Bishop Auckland. This young man is visually impaired, has hearing loss and is non verbal.
Hours: Full time and Part time hours available can be negotiated at interview.
Hourly Rate £13.00 per hour.
The role will be to provide social stimulus through playwork and sensory activities locally or in his own home environment. Due to his disabilities you will be expected to provide assistance for his mobility needs and some personal care.
Experience and knowledge of working with children/adults with his disabilities would be preferable but a caring, patient and enthusiastic outlook on life is also required.
An enhanced DBS check will be required which will be paid for by the employer.
