Personal Support Worker 6 hours per week at £13.74 in Cramlington Area – Cramlington – NE23

We are looking for a committed care worker, to support an independent woman, in her 60’s, who lives in the Cramlington area.

About the Client

The woman has half paralysis in her throat and finds it difficult get words out. We require somebody who is patient, kind and able to learn to communicate effectively.

Requirements

We would like a worker who is:

  • Female
  • Local to the area
  • Experienced in providing enabling support
  • Able to drive with access to their own car that can accommodate a large wheelchair. This must be insurance for business insurance

The Woman’s Interests

  • Going out for coffee
  • Everything arts and crafts related
  • Shopping at supermarkets and charity shops
  • Games e.g. bingo, jigsaws
  • She loves animals, especially dogs

Support Schedule

  • Monday – 3 hours – approximately 1pm onwards
  • Wednesday – 3 hours – approximately 1pm inwards
  • Flexibly is possible for the right applicant
  • Mileage and expenses will be paid by the employer

Qualifications & Training

A full, enhanced DBS will be required to work with the adult workforce full cost will be met by the employer.

Training will be provided in the form of online via the Learning Together Platform and by learning from the interactions with the client.
