PA Support Worker (15 hours per week) – Supporting a 45-year-old man to live an active, fun and fulfilled life.
We are looking for a friendly, energetic and proactive PA Support Worker to support a 45-year-old man with sensory impairment, epilepsy and short-term memory loss to enjoy an engaging and fulfilling life both in the community and socially.
This is not a clinical care role. It’s about participation, encouragement, confidence building and shared activities.
You will be someone who genuinely enjoys getting involved, helping plan outings, and being part of the experience.
Activities may include:
- Horse riding
- Boxing training
- Go-karting
- Karaoke and music festivals
- Playing pool
- Social and community events
We need someone who is:
- A confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people
- Proactive and a self-starter
- Comfortable using technology to find activities, book them and plan the week
- Patient, empathetic, reliable and enthusiastic about supporting someone to thrive
- Flexible, as the role includes both daytime and occasional evening activities
Hours: 15 hours per week across Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (You will need a level of flexibility depending on planned activities.)
Requirements:
- Must be a driver with a reliable car in good condition (essential)
- Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to complete one
- Experience working with people with disabilities
- Eligibility to work in the UK
