PA required for 12-year-old boy in Roundhay (Leeds) with flexible weekend hours – Leeds – LS8

£12.70 per hour (gross) at all times with 5.6 weeks pro-rata holidays

4 hours per week during term time (mainly weekends)

6 hours during school holidays (to be worked over the whole week)

Initially, the PA will build a relationship in the home and then start to access different activities in the community (to be discussed with parents).

Communication

I use some words and short sentences to communicate my wants and needs.

I am good at using visuals like my choice board and aided language displays – make sure I gain an adult’s attention prior to initiating communication.

I learn through modelling and sometimes my phrases don’t match what I mean (gestalt processing).

Preferences

Likes: Playgrounds, Intensive interaction, Trampoline, Swimming

Dislikes: Loud noises, upset children, personal space invasions, physical touch from unfamiliar adults

Additional needs

I need reminding to look before crossing the road and I have no sense of danger.
