# PA for Child – 4 Hrs PW- LS7 – Leeds – LS7Job Reference (2c7e9526)Job purpose:■To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable/assist the employer/personwho needs care and support to live their personal and social life according totheir wishes and interests.■Young boy aged 11 with Autism who has no sense of danger so needs assistance to prevent harm. He sometimes can be very active depending on his mood or can be very laid back and relaxed, a cheeky chappy who is very loving and enjoys computers/gaming, been outdoors, likes dining out, LOVES STEAK, loves teddy bears, enjoys spending time with family and other children.■Has autism, can communicate but words can sometimes not come across clear for those who don’t know him well. So sometimes can cause frustration and meltdowns but has very good understanding, sometimes can become overwhelmed depending on mood and environment. Can become tired walking long distances. He is globally delayed and would personally say he ranges at the age of around 8. He is on medication 3x daily for his blood pressure and kidneys. Able to use a toliet but needs assistance so he can use it properly and hygienic needs are met too.Main duties:■Social duties, take Theo out on fun days to keep him occupied and stimulated (fun days can be anything ranging from the park – activities ect.■keep in touch and socialise with family and friends■attend social events such as music gigs or the cinema■Personal care, support administering medication, eating, using the toilet■Domestic duties, serving nutritious meals and snacks,These duties may vary from day to day.Type of person that you/they are looking for:■an energetic and compassionate person who’s is bubbly and enjoys having fun and can keep busy. Positive attitude. Reliable, able to build trust and good relationship, willing to travel, flexible and adaptable someone who also can be calm natured.■Specific requirements, be able to administer medications, worked with S.E.N. previously as they’ll be aware of the challenges that it can come with.
