Hours/rate
Hours are 8 hours per week (school holidays). Current hourly rate is £13.50 per hour.
Duties
The main role of the support worker is to take the child out to do activities. He is a very happy and playful child who loves outdoor play but can become tired. He loves trips to the park, soft play and Beamish museum. We are looking for someone who can provide a positive and safe environment for our son helping him stay content and active.
Additional requirements
- Driver with own car essential.
- The role is paid through direct payments.
- Experience in dealing with children with autism or learning disabilities would be preferred.
- Enhanced DBS will be required. This will be covered by the employer.
