Personal Care Assistant for a young girl full-time at £18.40 per hour in the Throckley area – Newcastle upon Tyne – NE15. We are looking for a caring and experienced Personal Care Assistant to support a 9‑year‑old girl with complex health needs. She has Spina Bifida and may occasionally require breathing support. You will work alongside her family to provide care at home and in the community, building a positive and trusting relationship. She is bright, chatty, and loves fun activities like baking, playing, and going to the park.

Hours:

  • Thursday after school – 5 hours
  • Saturday – 8 hours

Role includes:

  • Supporting play and activities
  • Personal care and medication
  • Gastrostomy feeds (training provided)
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment

Pay: £18.40 per hour

5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)

Requirements:

  • Experience with complex needs is helpful.
  • Full training will be given.
  • Must be a confident car driver with business insurance.
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be required (paid by employer).
