Female Personal Assistants Required - Days & Waking Nights | £14.67 p/h- Lynemouth Area
We are looking to recruit a team of five female Personal Assistants to support a friendly, resilient and good-humoured transgender woman living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) to remain independent in her own home.
A range of hours are available, all paid at £14.67 per hour:
- Day Support: 4 hours daily, 7 days per week, assisting with personal care, bed bathing, moving and handling using a hoist, meal preparation, feeding and hydration support, ventilator assistance, and household tasks such as laundry and changing bedding.
- Evening Support: 1 hour each evening, 7 days per week, supporting with meal preparation, feeding and hydration, personal care, and ventilator mask management.
- Waking Night Support: 10-hour waking night shifts, 7 days per week, providing personal care, positional changes using a hoist, ventilator management, responding to alarms, supporting hydration, and assisting in emergencies if required.
Full training will be provided, including ventilator management and moving and handling. Experience of supporting someone with MND would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful applicants will be caring, reliable, open-minded and supportive, with a commitment to providing person-centred care. You will be joining an established team and playing a valued role in helping this lady maintain her independence, dignity and quality of life. Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
