Job Details
I am a mature lady who has Parkinson's and dementia, therefore need support to remain independent in my own home with my husband. I have some mobility difficulties and use a walking frame, and can be prone to falls. My PA will support me with personal care, washing, dressing, and continence needs, and will also assist with general domestic tasks to ensure that our home is tidy and safe. I enjoy reading and watching television, and it is important that my PA is friendly and willing to keep me company. In view of the personal care element of this role, a female PA is preferred.
Summary terms and conditions
- The rate of pay for this position is £15.00 per hour.
- Hours of work: Up to 14 hours per week to be worked on a flexible basis, no weekend care required.
- 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
- Free training as appropriate for the role.
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
