Personal Care Assistant required 25 hr per week, Northfleet (DA11) @ £14/hr FTE £27.3k - Gravesend - DA11

A female fulltime wheelchair user with high dependency needs requires a part-time Female Personal Assistant (PA) to join a small team providing assistance in all areas of independent living, including driving my car and assisting in hydrotherapy pool (with training) to enable the employer to live a full and active life.

Candidates must live within the Gravesend/Northfleet area.

No experience is necessary as in-house training is given.

Candidates must be prepared to work in a flexible manner.

Confidentiality, commitment, communication + mutual trust and respect are essential.

This is a physical job requiring good health and stamina.

The hours are 20-25 per week to include some full days; some evening, weekend & Bank Holidays.

Extra hours are required for holidays/sickness/emergency sometimes at short notice.

Government Pension Scheme is available + free on-site parking.

This is a unique opportunity to experience living in the community with and for a disabled person including all the barriers that hinder trying to be a productive member of society.
