Personal Support / Care Worker for lady with MND – Cannock – £13.38 per hour – Days

Are you passionate about providing life-changing care? We’re looking for a dedicated Female Complex Care Assistant to join our compassionate team in Cannock, supporting one individual client in a meaningful way.

In this role, you’ll work closely with a person living with Motor Neurone Disease, helping them maintain independence and live life fully at home and in the community.

You’ll be part of a small, friendly team providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, depending on the shift. If you want a role where your care makes a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

About us at Salvere Support

We support clients in their own homes. Our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person-centered care, working with only one client to enable meaningful relationships and support each day.

Note: You must be comfortable with pets, as there are several cats in the client’s home.

Contracted hours and schedule

18 hours a week, with flexible shifts and some weekend work. Days of the week are negotiable at interview.

Candidate requirements

You should be self-motivated, well-organized, reliable, and a team player. We are seeking candidates with experience in:

  • Personal care, incontinence support, and skin care
  • Catheter care
  • Moving and handling, including hoisting
  • Domestic duties (laundry, cleaning, cooking nutritious meals)
  • Gastrostomy care and medication administration
  • Monitoring health and well-being, record keeping
  • Supporting with meal times due to dysphagia

You should also have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to cover leave and sickness
