About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to provide support to a parent with three children at home. The role involves both practical help around the house and supporting the children, including one child who requires additional care. Support may include:
- Assisting with washing and dressing
- Domestic tasks such as laundry and cleaning
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Shopping and community access
- Supporting with nappy changing for Aurora when needed
Previous experience with neurodivergence is essential, and lived experience or understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) is highly desirable.
About You
- Female (due to personal care needs and the children’s preferences)
- Patient, understanding, and able to engage with children
- Comfortable working in a home with pets (we have a dog, 3 cats, and 10 guinea pigs)
- Flexible with hours, especially weekends and school holidays
- Ideally with experience in supporting neurodivergent children
- A DBS check is required, which will be funded.
