To provide support and promote confidence for young person with healthcare needs, particularly getting out and about for social activities.

Job Details
I am a young person who is an ambulatory wheelchair user and also has Autism/PDA/ARFID. I am pretty self-sufficient with my everyday care needs, toileting, eating etc, but this can vary day to day so there may need to be changes to my routine at short notice. At home I enjoy many activities including baking, crafts, and caring for my pet tree frogs. In term time I would only need my PA for 2 hours weekly but in the holidays this will increase to 8 hours, over 1 or2 sessions but flexible depending on activities. I do like to go in to Norwich to meet friends, visiting the library or book shops, and going to the beach.

- Reliable, trustworthy and dependable
- I am transgender, so understanding and acceptance is essential
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
- Able to lift my electric wheelchair in and out of vehicle
- Some knowledge/experience with autism/PDA/ARFID
Summary terms and conditions
· The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour
· Hours of work: Up to 8 hours weekly on a flexible basis
· 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays
· Free training as appropriate for role
The post is subject to the following
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
