School Holiday Only - Personal Support Worker for a little boy - 3hrs pw - Cramlington - NE23. We are looking for a fun, caring, and reliable Personal Care Assistant to support a young boy during school holidays.
Responsibilities:
- This role involves 3 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 6 hours if required.
- The boy is non-verbal and communicates using a VOCA. Patience and willingness to understand his communication style are essential.
- Activities include bus trips, clubs such as Northburn Freestylers, Gymnastics, the Alan Shearer Centre, Airbox Bounce, and swimming.
- Provide support with personal care, encourage independence and participate actively in activities.
Qualifications:
- Physically able and happy to join in activities.
- Positive attitude, lively, engaging, adaptable, and genuine interest in supporting others.
- Previous experience helpful but not essential; full guidance will be provided.
- Driving licence preferred but not essential; no specific gender or age requirements.
