Complex Care Assistant – Supporting a client with Cerebral Palsy in Rossendale – Car Driver Essential – £13.91/hr
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Care/Support Worker to join our dedicated team, supporting an individual with Cerebral Palsy in Rossendale. This role offers a chance to make a real difference by helping our client live life to the fullest.
Responsibilities include clinical care tasks and supporting activities such as hydrotherapy, sensory exploration, and crafts. You will work as part of a small, person-centred team, on a 2:1 basis.
Essential: A full clean driving licence and ability to drive the client’s Motability vehicle.
Contracted Hours:
- PA 3
- Week 1: Fri 11:30-17:30, Sat & Sun 9:00-15:30 (18.5 hrs)
- Week 2: Thu & Fri 11:30-17:00 (11 hrs)
- Week 3: Fri 11:30-17:30, Sat & Sun 9:00-15:30 (18.5 hrs)
- Week 4: Thu & Fri 11:30-17:00, plus additional hours 9:00-15:30 (17.5 hrs)
Total of 65.5 hours over four weeks, averaging 16 hours/week.

Training includes e-learning, face-to-face, practical, and clinical competencies, tailored to meet client needs, with regular refreshers.
Candidate requirements:
Self-motivated, organized, reliable, team player, caring, and compassionate. Experience in:
- Gastronomy care & medication administration
- Tracheostomy care
- Driving (wheelchair accessible vehicle)
- Personal care and skin integrity
- Moving & Handling (including hoisting)
- Monitoring health & administering rescue medication
- Domestic duties & support with social activities
- Health & well-being monitoring
Additional skills:
- Excellent communication (verbal & written)
- Flexibility for leave & sickness cover
