Direct Payment Personal Assistant Required
I am looking to recruit a Direct Payment Personal Assistant for our 17-year-old son. Hours wanted: 4 hours per week term time and 8 hours per week during the holidays (days to be agreed), all year round.
More about the young person: This person is 17 years old and has a good sense of fun. He enjoys a range of activities including swimming, walking, cycling, drawing, Lego, visiting charity shops, and gardening. He is able to feed and dress himself independently. This person has significant social communication difficulties, which affect him both verbally and non‑verbally. He finds eye contact challenging, has limited awareness of personal space, and does not naturally use gestures to support communication. He is currently on medication to support with anxiety. This person has very limited social interaction with peers.
