The predicted salary is between 14.67 - 14.67 £ per hour.
We are looking for a small team of carers to support an elderly lady in the Choppington area.
Available Hours:
- 7 x ¾ hour AM call = 5.25 hours
- 3 x 1 hour lunch call (Mon/Wed/Fri) = 3 hours
- 4 x ½ hour lunch call (Sun/Tues/Thurs/Sat) = 2 hours
- 7 x ½ hour tea call = 3.5 hours
- 7 x ½ hour evening call = 3.5 hours
Total = 17 ¼ hours per week. Call times are approximate and can be flexible for the right individual.
Care Responsibilities:
- Cooking healthy, fresh and nutritious meals
- Light household tasks such as laundry, cleaning the bathroom
- Support to administer her medication
- Showering, more around safety and mobility rather than physical support
- Access the community, in time
The lady has a great sense of humour, is very family orientated and used to enjoy crafts, especially knitting. She is keen on animals, especially dogs. Her priority is to maintain a clean and tidy home with the help of her carers.
Candidate Profile:
- Female (due to showering support)
- Local to the area due to the length of the calls
- Friendly and chatty but able to 'work and talk'
- Keen on cooking and willing to prepare meals to the client's liking
- Proactive and able to take direction
The successful application will require an enhanced disclosure and barring certificate for the adult workforce. The cost and arrangement of this will be met by the employer.
