My client is a 32-year-old male looking for somebody to support him with all aspects of daily living. He requires support around the home with personal care, meal preparation, and day-to-day tasks. He also needs assistance with accessing the community, shopping, attending hospital/physio appointments, and generally getting out and about.
He is a wheelchair user and requires a driver who is able to drive his manual wheelchair accessible vehicle. He has a suprapubic catheter in place, so previous experience of managing this would be advantageous; however, full training will be given if not.
The hours of work are between 34 - 41 hours per week over 5 days (Sunday-Thursday), and the times of the calls would vary between 8:30 am - 6:00 pm. However, this is flexible and will be discussed at interview.
Successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check, cost to be met by the employer.
