We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and patient Personal Care Assistant to support a wonderful child with additional needs. This is a flexible, part‑time role—ideally one or two days a week, with hours varying depending on family needs.

About the Child

  • Enjoys cars, wheels, soft play, and bouncing activities
  • Dislikes loud noises, crowded places, and changes in routine
  • Diagnosed with dyspraxia, sensory needs, speech and language difficulties, global developmental delay, with possible autism and ADHD
  • Uses a wheelchair for outings
  • Has no awareness of danger and is not toilet trained, and comfort with personal care is essential

Duties Include

  • Taking the child to parks, soft play centres, and walks on their scooter
  • Playing games and engaging in activities at home
  • Providing personal care, including changing
  • Ensuring a safe, calm, and engaging environment
