About the Role
Seeking a kind, reliable, and understanding Muslim female support worker who will assist with daily activities and help access the community. The role is motivated by religious and cultural needs and involves support both at home and out in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting communication tasks such as:
- Making phone calls (e.g., appointments)
- Reading and managing paperwork
- Accompanying to GP visits
- Appointments, errands or essential outings
- Social activities or local events
- Doing outreach work to explore local community opportunities and activities
- Providing general companionship and social support
- Encouraging independence when out and about
Essential Requirements
- Female Muslim (for cultural and religious reasons)
- Must drive and have access to own car
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Patient, calm, and respectful
- Friendly, reliable, and organised
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Confident supporting someone 1:1 in both home and community settings
Desirable
