We have an exciting opportunity for two Care / Support workers to join our friendly team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Thornton Cleveleys area! This is a varied role but you will be supporting our client who has Multiple Sclerosis to lead an individual and independent lifestyle within their own home and the community. Our client has varied interests but particularly enjoys spending time on his computer.
You will be working as part of a small team which will be a combination of a 1:1 and 2:1 basis.
Positions / Hours Available
- PA1: 20-24 hours per week.
In return Salvere Support offers
- Rate of pay £12.84 per hour
- A DBS paid for by us.

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.
Who we are looking for
- Personal care, support to manage continence, and measures to maintain a good skin state.
- Moving and Handling (including hoisting and position changes).
- Domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning, and cooking nutritious meals and general tidying).
- Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping.
- Supporting with dysphagia.
You should also have:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You must also have eligibility to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship.
