Are you someone who can provide care and support to a lady with a spinal cord injury (tetraplegia) to help her live independently? You will be working in her home in the Burnley area.

Duties include:

  • Supporting her with all aspects of clinical and personal care
  • Monitoring throughout the night
  • Medication dispensing
  • Recording
  • Domestic duties
  • Trips out to recreational activities

We are looking for the right people to join the team who possess the right values and qualities and understand the importance of person‑centred care. Experience in care and support isn’t essential, but attributes like:

Once you are trained and have completed an induction period, you'll be able to work independently as part of our experienced and competent team. Your employer will be the person you are providing care and support for.

Work Patterns:

  • 12‑hour shifts 8pm - 8am on Saturday

The rate of pay is £15.62 per hour. We expect team members to cover each other's holidays and sickness whenever possible. A full UK driving licence is essential. You'll receive 5.6 weeks of paid leave per year. Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check and clearance at the employer's cost.
