About the Role
- Support is required with:
- Community access and social outings
- Leisure activities and occasional sporting events
- Shopping trips
- Light domestic support, including laundry
- Supporting hobbies such as home decorating and gardening
The ideal PA will enjoy social interaction, be able to follow instructions well, and provide respectful support while promoting independence.
Hours Available
- Approx. 10 hours per week:
- One midweek evening (Wednesday preferred)
- Either Saturday or Sunday
- Some flexibility around days and times may be available.
Pay
- Employed rate: £13.20 per hour
- Self-employed rate: £20.00 per hour
Start date: ASAP
Essential Requirements
- Must be a non-smoker
- Must be comfortable around wheelchairs
- Must be able to drive a Motability vehicle
- Must be physically able to operate manual wheelchair ramps
- A DBS check is required
- Due to allergies, strong perfumes and heavily scented products must be avoided
