Immediate start available for a Personal Assistant to support a young man who enjoys playing Xbox and watching movies, with community access, travel training, social support, and fitness activities.
This role would suit someone friendly, reliable, and encouraging, looking for part-time, flexible work alongside their studies or other commitments. A shared interest in similar hobbies would be beneficial, along with a keen interest in supporting young people to build confidence and independence within the community.
Duties Include:
- Travel training support
- Community access and social activities
- Support with fitness-related activities
- Building confidence and independence
Hours: Friday and Saturday or Sunday. Start time to be agreed at interview. Plus, one afternoon Monday–Thursday – day to be agreed. Start time 3:30pm for transport/travel training from college. 6–8 hours per week available.
About the Environment:
- Home includes two kittens

Experience: Previous experience is not essential, as training can be provided. Experience supporting people with additional needs, including epilepsy and mild physical or learning disabilities, would be helpful. It is important that you feel confident to deal with seizures.

- An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role
- This is a PAYE employed position and is not a cash-in-hand role
- Please note: travel expenses/fuel costs will need to be privately covered unless mileage is included within funding
