Personal assistant / carer required to join the support team for a wheelchair user with a Spinal Cord Injury. Part-time permanent position. No experience necessary. Days and hours to be agreed within a rota with other assistants.
- Mornings: 8 am – 11 am (2 hours). Tasks: personal care, washing, dressing and getting up.
- Afternoons: 4:30 pm – 6 pm. Tasks: domestic chores, cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
- Evenings: 9 pm – 10:30 pm. Tasks: personal care and going to bed.
You will need to be able to manage moving and handling tasks under the client’s direction; training will be provided so no prior care experience required. Rate of pay from £13.50 per hour, dependent upon experience.
