We are looking for a positive, mature, experienced Personal Assistant to work on a 2:1 basis to support a non‑verbal late teenage girl who has developed her own sign language. She has complex needs and may become angry and frustrated, with a tendency to self‑harm by hitting her head. The PA will provide support, enable breaks away at the Golden Sands resort, and collaborate with the family. The role is initially 8 hours per week, rising to 16 hours after a period of time. Ideal applicants are available weekdays; weekend work is acceptable for the right candidates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building rapport
  • Developing strategies to support the teenager and her family
  • Driving the mobility vehicle safely (a clean driving licence is required)

Qualifications:

  • Over 25 years of age
  • Clean driving licence
  • Experience caring for individuals with complex needs
