Overview

Bedtime help with overnight care for an elderly female patient requiring gentle supervision during the night. Shift is from 9:00 pm to around 8:00–9:00 am. Rate: 12.25/hr. Location: Norwich, NR7.

Responsibilities

  • Provide gentle supervision during the night, including assistance with toileting and-when needed-teeth care and changing into bed clothes.
  • Assist with cleaning up after accidents as necessary. Patient uses pull-ups; assist with replacement when needed.
  • Provide gentle reminders and direction to ensure pull-ups are changed; monitor for safety.
  • Use a pressure pad to notify the carer when waking (typically about 3 times per night).

Schedule & Location

  • Seven nights per week.
  • Own bedroom and sitting room available.
  • Position is in Norwich NR7.

Qualifications & Expectations

  • Experience with dementia care and elderly supervision is preferred.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and discreet care during night hours.
  • Reliability and ability to follow instructions for safety and dignity of the patient.
