Job Title: Female Personal Care Assistant

Location: Consett, DH8

Overview: I am an 18-year-old female seeking 1 or 2 female Personal Assistants (PAs) to support me with daily living activities such as laundry, personal care, food shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, I need assistance in accessing the community for various activities. I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, listening to music, engaging in art and photography, going shopping, and attending the gym and swimming. I also love to cook and bake.

Hours: Total of 12 hours per week at £12 per hour.

Flexibility: It is essential to have a PA who is flexible, as the working hours will vary weekly, especially for social activities. Some days/times may be fixed for home/personal care tasks.

Requirements:

1. Previous PA experience is not essential, but an understanding of Autism and mental health/physical challenges would be advantageous.
2. Key qualities include friendliness, patience, willingness to learn, and good organizational skills.
3. Character is crucial for the success of this role.
4. Living with my family, who will provide information to help you build a strong understanding of me as I develop independence.

Additional Information:

If you are a driver with access to your own car and are willing to have my dog accompany you, that would be ideal. I can consider a non-driver for part of the total hours but not all.
