About Sandfield House Farm: Nestled between the peaceful village of Sandsend and the popular coastal town of Whitby, Sandfield House Farm is an award‑winning Four Star Gold caravan park and an exceptional base for exploring the stunning North East coastline. The park sits proudly within the North Yorkshire National Park and offers breath‑taking coastal views and a relaxing atmosphere for all guests. With 130 seasonal pitches, 70 touring pitches, 4 holiday cottages and a luxury holiday home, guests enjoy superior facilities, tranquil surroundings, and easy access to local attractions. A regular bus service stops right outside the park every 30 minutes, and we are situated directly on the Cleveland Way – perfect for walkers.

Position: Campsite Warden Couple

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover reception, manage telephone bookings and guest enquiries
  • Welcome arrivals
  • Operate Camp Manager booking system, Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Maintain exceptionally high cleanliness standards in all facility blocks
  • Clean four holiday cottages on changeover days
  • Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
  • General gardening, grass cutting (push mower & ride‑on), planting and upkeep
  • Pressure washing, equipment upkeep & safe tool use
  • Move caravans confidently using onsite vehicles (tractor / Land Rover)
  • Maintain private luxury holiday home garden area

Evening Warden Duties (5pm-9pm)

  • Welcome late arrivals and assist with pitch allocation
  • Handle guest queries or minor issues
  • Check and replenish facilities

What We’re Looking For

  • Your own caravan/motorhome for onsite living
  • A friendly, people‑focused approach
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong eye for detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Practical, hands‑on approach with problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexibly (including evenings, weekends & bank holidays)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands of the tourism sector
