Employer\'s Name: Lydford Caravan And Camping Park Location: Devon (South)
Due to retirement, we are seeking a dynamic couple to manage our charming CAMC Affiliated touring site on the edge of Dartmoor National Park from the beginning of 2026 season. This family-owned site is known by its regular visitors for its sense of peace, beauty and tranquillity. Applicants should own their own Caravan or Motorhome (for which a serviced pitch is provided) and will be required to work full time, spread over 5 days, from mid-March to end of September each season. We are specifically looking for long term staff and for this reason a Long-Term Incentive Bonus will be discussed at interview. For the right couple, a profit sharing relationship could be possible in the future, as the owners step back, being less involved than at present.
The successful couple will be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent customer service and communication skills and be experienced in the use of a computer-based site management system.
• Experience in pitching units, care and maintenance of the facilities block and office/shop and all aspects of ground and pitch maintenance.
• Ideally, a practical knowledge of electrics, plumbing, and grass machinery maintenance, with the ability to recognise when external contractors help is required.
Take a look at our excellent Google reviews and other review sites - extract from a recent review: This is an absolute gem of a site. Pitches are well laid out giving plenty of space to sit outside and watch the world go by. The shower and toilet facilities are excellent and very clean…..
