Masons Campsite is a well-established, family-run campsite located in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park. We have been operating for 19 years and are proud to be one of the UK's most popular and well-regarded campsites. Our main site operates from 27th March to 1st November. In addition, we open an extra 60-pitch river field during bank holidays, peak weekends and school holidays between May and September. We also offer nine glamping pods, positioned in peaceful riverside locations overlooking the River Wharfe. On site, we run a busy kitchen serving early morning drinks and breakfast treats, alongside wood-fired pizza on weekends and throughout school holidays. Our reception area operates as a well-stocked shop for guests. This season, we are launching an exciting new addition to the business — a wellness area featuring cold plunges and wood-fired saunas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reception and shop duties
- Assisting with guest arrivals and departures
- Supporting seasonal team members and helping to coordinate workloads
- Assisting with general duties in Masons Kitchen and Front of House
- Carrying out housekeeping duties and ensuring our high standards are consistently maintained
- Handling minor maintenance issues
- Conducting curfew walk-arounds and reinforcing quiet times
- Ensuring the campsite remains clean, organised and guest-ready at all times
- Maintaining a visible and proactive onsite presence
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with the public; practical and hands-on, with strong problem-solving skills; calm under pressure during busy periods; and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous experience in hospitality, tourism or customer service is preferred but not essential. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are equally important. Full site-specific training will be provided.
