Holiday Park Warden Couple Permanent Position/ Live-in Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Holiday Park Warden couple to join our family‑owned and family‑run park on the Fylde Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on couple who thrive in a busy, varied role and enjoy working in a fast‑paced leisure environment.

About us

Ream Hills Lake Leisure Park is a well‑established holiday park located in the countryside village of Weeton on the Fylde Coast, just 5 miles from Blackpool. We offer a wide range of accommodation, including Lakeside Lodges, Canadian Log Cabins, Geodesic Domes, touring caravan and motorhome pitches.

Role & Responsibilities

  • As Park Wardens, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, so excellent customer service and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Welcoming guests, explaining park rules, and assisting with siting accommodation
  • Supporting guests throughout their stay to ensure a positive experience
  • Daily cleaning of amenity blocks, shared facilities, and rentable units (including the campervan‑style "Lynx Helicopter")
  • Hot tub maintenance: daily cleaning, filling, water testing, and adjusting chemical levels (full training provided)
  • Reception duties including guest check‑ins (including out‑of‑hours arrivals), answering telephone enquiries, taking bookings, and processing card payments
  • Assisting our contract cleaning company on turnaround days (Mon & Fri). Thoroughly checking the standard of their cleans before guests arrive
  • On changeover/turnover days, the role is fast‑paced and physically active, requiring excellent organisation, teamwork, and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service
  • Repairs and general DIY tasks
  • Decorating and upkeep
  • Delivering gas bottles
  • Mowing, strimming and general grounds maintenance

We are looking for a proactive couple who can work independently, use their initiative, and take pride in maintaining high standards across the park.

Experience & Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • One or both applicants must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Strong references required
  • Hot tub / grounds maintenance, or DIY skills are highly beneficial

Hours of Work

  • Off‑peak season: 5 days per week
  • Peak season: 6 days per week (includes some evenings, weekends, and rostered on‑call nights)

Accommodation Details

  • On‑site accommodation is provided in a Carnaby Stamford Lodge.
  • 2 bedrooms
  • 39ft x 13ft
  • Decking and private gated area
  • All household bills included

This position is suitable for a warden couple without dependents. A well‑behaved dog is welcome. The role is offered on a self‑employed basis, with an attractive overall package including free utilities and Wi‑Fi.
