The Park.

Plough Leisure is made up of holiday homes, touring & camping on Plough Park, Minster; with its ancient Minster Abbey and gate house museum. The park is 10 mins drive to the main holiday area of Leysdown with its safe sandy beaches, and numerous arcades, and not forgetting the beautiful Shellness nature reserve. The site is very accessible from the M20 and M2 motorways by the recently completed fixed crossing.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious individual to join our wider James Park Estates team, located here at Plough Leisure Park which has 77 owner occupied holiday homes as well as a small touring site, which is currently being developed into a further 43 static pitches.

• Marketing and selling our holiday homes on social media and other sales platforms.
• Maintenance of our site grounds including grass and hedge cutting, strimming and weeding.
• Basic maintenance tasks and the delivery and connecting of gas bottles.
• Cleaning the shared facilities which include the washing up area, toilet facilities and launderette.
• Cleaning and dressing holiday homes to a high standard to show them at their best.

The ideal couple will also have experience of office and reception duties including:

• Supervision of the reception desk to assist with new arrivals and queries between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
• Managing the sales of gas and electricity.
• Booking and checking-in guests visiting the touring site.
• Maintaining up to date evidence of certificates of all owner occupier holiday homes including gas, electricity and insurance checks.

Applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office and using a computer , training can be given on Camp Manager.

The positions allow you to use your own initiative and work alongside a wider team. During summer some on call duties will be required to see in tourers arriving in the late afternoon.

The salary is negotiable based on experience and sales commission incentives are provided on all holiday home sales. On site accommodation is provided as part of the successful applicants package.
