Vacancy: Seasonal Campsite Wardens (Couple) x 2 Employer\'s Name: Fisherground Campsite
Location: Cumbria
We are looking to recruit 1 couple for our full seasonal post starting March 2026 until the end of August 2026, and 1 couple for our shorter seasonal post starting Mid April 2026 until the end of August 2026.
These are seasonal posts. An average of 40 hrs per week per person, which includes weekends & evenings. Work times are on a rota system. A very flexible approach to work times is required.
The position requires candidates with a friendly, energetic nature to maintain our standards and values. Applicants should be self‑motivated, outgoing, and have excellent people skills. Be physically fit and active. You must be willing to work, and live, as part of our small family team.
Duties Ensure our campers have an enjoyable stay.
Cleaning: Toilets, showers & communal pot wash areas to a high standard; keeping the grounds litter‑free and tidy.
Site & Grounds: General DIY & maintenance work around the site, grass mowing on both hand & ride‑on mower, strimming, weeding & use of other hand tools.
Office: General office skills would be helpful but training will be given if needed. Meeting & greeting guests at check‑in. Use of our online booking system; training will be given.
As and when required there will be evening walk rounds of the site to ensure guests are adhering to site rules of our noise & firepit policies. Assistance with evening emergencies may be required.
Experience is not essential, but knowledge of camping and pitching up would be helpful.
Requirements It is preferable if you have your own touring caravan or motorhome as we will provide a pitch (including gas/electric & water).
Post requires living on site.
Applicants need to hold a full UK driving licence.
First Aid qualification would be desirable, but training will be given to successful candidates.
Couples must be prepared to take on any task required to help ensure the safe, efficient running of the park.
Accommodation: We will provide a pitch (including gas/electric & water) if you own a touring caravan or motorhome.
