Employer: Town Farm Campsite | Location: Buckinghamshire | Season: 2026 (Mid‑April – Mid‑September) | Hours: Full time, 30‑40 hours/week, primarily outdoors.
Role Overview
Town Farm is a family‑run farm in the Chilterns AONB, operating a campsite (April‑September) and 18 holiday cottages. The Warden will manage guest experience, pitch operations, site maintenance, and occasional cottage tasks.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Bookings Team to prepare for upcoming arrivals, mainly on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Welcome guests, show them to their pitch, provide local information, and deliver friendly service.
- Deliver firepits and firewood to guests using UTV buggies.
- Pitch and maintain the fleet of rental tents.
- Maintain the site and facilities; assist housekeeping team with cleaning, litter picking, supply management, and health & safety checks.
- Monitor and manage site access, noise levels, guest behaviour, and extinguish campfires when necessary.
- Occasionally support work in holiday cottages.
Personal Requirements
- Enjoy working with the public, both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Appreciation of the countryside and willingness to work outdoors.
- Interest in tourism and rural diversification on a family‑run farm.
- Ability to guide and encourage junior staff members.
- Handy and willing to get dirty – ability to handle odd jobs (painting, fixing, planting, weeding).
Schedule & Availability
Full season (Mid‑April – Mid‑September). Weekday and weekend availability required; overtime optional. Work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings; shift pattern may include short and long shifts, evenings and occasional nights.
Accommodation
Free pitch for own touring caravan/campervan (electricity, Wi‑Fi, washing facilities). On‑site furnished accommodation available if required (inclusive of bills).
Remuneration
Pay: £11.50‑£14 per hour (to be confirmed based on experience and accommodation).
