Free pitch offered to person or couple.
This is a small 20 van site on 4.5 acres. At least half the pitches are let on a regular basis; there is no shower block or toilets so no cleaning involved. I am going to retire and am looking for someone to take over. It’s essentially a pretty easy and straight forward job. Have a look at thedairycampsite.com
Job Description
- Be reasonably computer literate and track bookings, payments, and reply to phone and email messages (training will be given).
- Organise pitches and hook‑ups for incoming caravans or motor homes, greet new arrivals, guide them to their pitch, and add more electric units when required.
- Communicate with regular customers, occasionally collect pitch fees and reload electric meter cards.
- Keep the site tidy: check bins and recycling, place bins out for collection, and check the cesspit level. Contractors will cut the main grass areas and hedges, do some strimming, lopping of odd tree branches, and general tidying.
- Have a basic understanding of electrical supply, enough to reset a trip switch.
- Approximately 7 hours of work per week. Hours are flexible depending on arrival times. The role is ongoing all year.
Skills & Qualifications
- Practical common‑sense approach, able to communicate well with visitors.
- Enjoy meeting new people and maintain a friendly attitude.
- Organised and tidy.
- Honesty and integrity; provide at least two references.
